The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable backend solutions to support modern banking applications. <ul><li>Develop &amp; Maintain Microservices:</li><li>Design, implement, and maintain scalable, reusable, and secure Java-based microservices using Spring Boot.</li><li>Ensure microservices adhere to industry best practices, banking compliance standards, and modern software engineering principles.</li></ul>
<p><strong>API Development &amp; Integration:</strong></p>
<ul><li>Build robust RESTful APIs using Spring Boot to enable seamless integration with third-party systems.</li><li>Optimize API performance, security, and scalability to meet the demanding requirements of the banking sector.</li><li>Database Management:</li><li>Design and optimize database schemas for efficient data storage and retrieval.</li><li>Work with relational databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, and NoSQL databases like MongoDB.</li></ul>
<p><strong>Cloud &amp; DevOps Collaboration:</strong></p>
<ul><li>Deploy microservices in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) using CI/CD pipelines.</li><li>Collaborate with DevOps teams for seamless containerization and orchestration using tools like Docker and Kubernetes.</li><li>Collaboration &amp; Communication:</li><li>Partner with frontend developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand technical requirements.</li><li>Actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.</li></ul>
<p><strong>Testing &amp; Debugging:</strong></p>
<ul><li>Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality and reliable software delivery.</li><li>Monitor and address performance bottlenecks and vulnerabilities proactively.</li></ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Skills: Technical Skills:</strong></p>
<ul><li>Programming Languages: Proficient in Java 8+ with strong knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring Data, and Spring Security.</li><li>Microservices Architecture: Proven experience in designing and implementing microservices.</li><li>Database Expertise: Proficiency with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).</li><li>Messaging Systems: Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging platforms.</li><li>APIs: Expertise in building and consuming RESTful APIs using Spring Boot.</li><li>Tools &amp; Frameworks: Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and version control systems like Git.</li><li>Security Practices: Understanding of security protocols, including OAuth2, JWT, and encryption techniques.</li></ul>
<p><strong>Domain Expertise:</strong></p>
<ul><li>Solid understanding of banking and financial services processes, including compliance, data privacy, and payment systems.</li><li>Knowledge of core banking platforms is a plus.</li></ul>
